1. Acceptable Use of the Utility

iku·yo is provided as a client-side utility and web/mobile application to assist with GPX route cataloging and group planning. You agree to use the application solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Data Storage & No Backup Liability

Because iku·yo is decentralized and operates strictly using your device's local storage and your personal Google Drive account:

• We do not control, manage, or host your files.
• We have no ability to restore, retrieve, or recover your activities, routes, notes, or credentials if they are deleted, lost, or corrupted.
• You are solely responsible for managing your Google Drive quotas, files, and making secondary backups.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE UTILITY IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MAP DETAILS, GPX PARSING, OR DISTANCE MEASUREMENTS ARE ACCURATE OR ERROR-FREE.

4. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OF IKU·YO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES arising out of or in connection with your use of the application. Outdoor navigation, hiking, cycling, and running involve inherent physical risks; you assume all responsibility and liability for your safety during any activities planned or tracked via this utility.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
